MICR applications demand control and precision, particularly when printing high volume production jobs. And TROY MICR printers have been setting the world's standards for over 30 years. User passwords protect access to MICR functions. Automatic reprint after a jam is disabled to prevent duplicate checks. Print density is automatically set to optimum for printing MICR documents. And there's more. MICR toner must be present to allow check printing. An auditing tool allows administrators to capture MICR lines and record the number of checks printed for accurate verification and reconciliation at the printer.

At 50 pages per minute, TROY's MICR 9000 Ex printer is a versatile, robust, production-class, high speed, high capacity financial document printer ideal for large-volume applications or for time-critical print windows. Capable of supporting back office production check printing applications—printing the first page out in less than 8 seconds and 3,000 8 ½" x 11" documents per hour. Designed for high-volume production environments or the most demanding general office environment, the MICR 9000 Ex printer features a duty cycle of 300,000 pages per month and comes standard with three network interface slots.

Versatile paper handling features support a variety of media types and sizes. The two built-in 500-sheet paper trays are adjustable for standard and nonstandard paper sizes, making the MICR 9000 Ex ideal for printing from multiple accounts or switching between check printing and general office printing. And with full support of HP LaserJet 9000 high capacity input and output options and other accessories, the printer can be fully configured to meet high production demands and to seamlessly combine with other applications.
